About the Artist

I am a country girl at heart, born and raised in rural Wisconsin. I grew up surrounded by nature's beauty and music, lots of music.
As a young girl, I read alot and I have always been creative. I was constantly doodling, drawing and painting. However, as I’ve grown, so has my creative streak. Now I consider myself 'highly creative'. I’ve added watercolors, pastels, crafting, sewing, photography, and digital imaging to my love of the arts. I love it all, and I can lose myself for hours jumping from one project to another.
All of that creative input and energy seasoned with my imagination, cycled through my brain and came out of my hands as artwork and poetic stories. My artwork comes from my love of nature and of the myths and mysteries of life. As for my stories, they are poetic sagas and I try to season each one with a little hidden wisdom.
