I read a lot when I was young, I would sit outside under the trees with the breeze blowing and a book in my hands. My favorite stories were myths, mysteries, fantasies, and fairy tales … and music. There has always been music in my life. I have a distant memory of hearing one of my aunts walking past as I was playing the piano. "Look at those long fingers! She's going to be a musician or an artist", she said. Well, an artist is what I am.
All of that creative input seasoned with my imagination, cycled through my brain and came out of my hands. I am an artist, who writes poetry. One day, as I was handing my book to a lady I mentioned that I write poetry. She replied, " Oh, it's musical!" ~ Well, I guess it all comes together like that, doesn't it?

Where the flowers bloom all the year round.
Where fairies and elves play their games of delight
When the morning dew lifts from the ground.”
